Built in Australia at our state of the art Altona manufacturing plant in Melbourne, the 7th generation Camry takes a car that's brilliant down to the last detail, and makes it even better. The latest incarnation of Camry - the 7th generation, has arrived.

Offering four different petrol variants and two hybrids, the 7th generation Camry stable includes the ever-popular Altise model, all-new Camry Atara S, Atara SL and Atara SX, plus Camry H and Camry HL.

Adding to the prestigious and progressive feel, Camry boasts a low-wide dynamic exterior that enhances the strong athletic appearance. With impressive performance and low fuel consumption, Camry exceeds your expectations like never before.

All-new Exterior Styling

Camry has an all-new aerodynamic design. The lower grille, sleek headlights and bumpers at front and rear, have been reshaped, helping to create a strong, crouching stance for the vehicle.

In Altise models the oversized front grille has a silver metal finish, while in Atara models the headlamps and mesh grille combine with wide chrome accented lower grilles to add to the car's sense of width. Atara SX models also have unique bezel headlamps but no chrome accent on the lower grille.

Camry Hybrid models feature a wide lower grille design with no chrome accents. In Camry HL and Atara models, the car's wide stance is further emphasised by wide-placed fog lamps.

All-new Camry Interior

Whether you choose a new petrol model or one of the new Camry Hybrids, the car's interior has been completely re-designed to make the best possible use of space. More room to move for greater comfort with more, cleverly positioned storage compartments to stow the essentials for everyday driving. There's significantly more head-room, legroom and knee space for driver and passengers than in previous models. And in Camry H and Camry HL, the boot space has also been made extensively deeper and wider.

Across the range, the new interior exudes a quiet, understated sense of quality with premium features that create enhanced levels of comfort.

Seatbelts

All-new Camry features height adjustable, three point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seatbelts for the driver and the front passenger, while three point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) and Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) belts feature in rear seats, Camry also now features seatbelt warning indicator's for all occupants.

Brake System

Camry has Advanced Braking with intelligence (AB-i). This incorporates Anti-skid braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).

New Camry's tyres have been specifically developed to meet our designers' tight specifications. As a result they provide exceptionally good grip, which improves ride and handling.

Parking Sensors

Because many small accidents occur when parking, Camry Atara SL and Camry HL feature two rear sonar parking sensors that give an audible warning when you're approaching too close to other cars or other objects

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)

In a Camry first, Atara SL and Camry HL are fitted with Blind Spot Monitor. You can't always see what's coming, but these models have eyes where you don't.

Even with properly adjusted side mirrors, adjacent vehicles may enter blind spot areas that are outside of the driver's view. Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) uses radars to monitor these blind spots. Should you indicate to change lanes, the system will alert you to vehicles that are hiding in the blind spot zones, via illuminating warning indicators on the appropriate side mirror. Knowing what's around your vehicle is key to safer, confident driving.

Performance

Dynamic Performance

Camry Altise and the Camry Atara range all have a powerful new 2.5L dual VVT-i engine and six speed sequential shift transmission combined with Anti-skid Braking System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRC). This package not only delivers plenty of power, it also helps to keep you in control. Electric Power Steering (EPS) and suspension tuned specifically for Australian road conditions as well as aerodynamic features, combine to deliver a dynamic ride and handling package.

Power

All-new Camry Altise delivers 13.7% more power than the previous model Camry, thanks to the new 2.5L dual VVT-i engine, while Camry Atara models have 15.4% more power due to dual exhausts. All models across the range generate more torque than previous model Camry.

The new 2.5 Litre petrol engine in the Hybrid system of Camry H and Camry HL delivers 8kW more power overall and generates increased torque at all engine speeds with a significant 20% increase at low speeds.

New Engines

Camry 2.5L dual VVT-i engine

Camry's all-new 2.5L 2AR-FE dual VVT-i engine replaces the previous 2.4L single VVT-i engine. This highly efficient power pack includes advanced engine technologies that lower engine friction and deliver more power more efficiently, lowering fuel consumption at the same time. More power with less fuel cost makes new Camry the perfect choice of sedan.

Camry H and Camry HL - Powerful Hybrid Engine

The powerful new hybrid engine in Camry H and Camry HL incorporates a new 2.5 L petrol engine. This is teamed with an advanced electric motor using Toyota's world leading Hybrid Synergy Drive® technology and while it delivers significantly more power and torque than previous models, it is also more economical, delivering better fuel economy and generating lower CO2 emissions than any previous hybrid Camry.

Low Noise & Vibration

New Camry's acoustic insulation technology means a quieter ride. By reducing engine noise and vibration, redesigning exterior features to reduce wind noise and improving the sealing and acoustic packaging inside, we have improved Camry's Noise and Vibration (NVH) profile across the range, reducing unwanted sound and vibration and insulating you from the worst of irritating noises from road-works, resulting in a quieter, more comfortable ride and give you a chance to listen to music and converse at normal volumes.

In Camry H and HL, the use of acoustic glass windscreen reduces the noise levels even more for ultimate comfort.
